In such scenario the news of shortage of rooms during the games keeps appearing every now and then. A review conducted by the Indian Union Ministry of Tourism estimated that there will be a shortage of hotel rooms in the city and said that only 41 % accommodation options are ready at present. Only a few months left for the March 2010 deadline and the Commonwealth Games 2010 committee in India is on a tight schedule to meet the requirements of the event.
